During the visit there will be a tour of the current headquarters of the Ateneo de Málaga, a public utility association founded in 1966 for the promotion and dissemination of culture. The origin of the building complex in which the headquarters of the Institution is inserted, declared of Cultural Interest with the typology of Monument in 2016, dates back to the founding more than 450 years ago of the College of the Society of Jesus in Malaga also called Novitiate College of San Sebastian. The college was active until the expulsion of the Jesuits in 1767 and since then it has been occupied by different institutions that have been transforming and dividing it, subsisting to this day the educational and cultural dedication.
