With the Route "Villas de El Limonar" we propose a tour through one of the most elegant neighborhoods of Malaga. It is the result of the development of an estate called El Limonar as a continuation of the urbanization created by the engineer Sancha on the promenade and the hill it is named after. The area was built between the end of the nineteenth century and the first third of the twentieth century by the fashionable architects of the time and some brought expressly from abroad. The two villas that will be visited close the area to the east and west with a situation of dominance of the urban landscape; The house of the Bolin, "Los Castillejos" and the house of the Counts of Mieres, "The castle of Santa Catalina".
