The new building located in the Plaza de la Judería has a total built area of 1,086.37 square meters distributed over five floors and two rooms with independent accesses. One of them houses four VPO to rehouse the residents of the old houses in the square. It also includes a commercial space on the first floor of the building. In the other room, a space of 626.53 square meters has been created for the new headquarters of the Office for the Rehabilitation of the Historic Center of Malaga. Distributed over five floors, it has offices, a meeting room, reception area and offices.

The offices do not shy away from this condition and seek to provide an urban backdrop to the complex and profuse visual information that accumulates in this monumental area of the historic center of Malaga.

The solution adopted has shown the perfect integration of different uses, while maintaining functionality, with a new approach. As opposed to the usual functional distribution that piles up commercial, office and residential uses, reserving the lower levels for retail, intermediate levels for offices and upper levels for housing, the project proposes the vertical distribution of housing and offices, generating two adjacent buildings separated by a fissure that allows the office building to expand its facade surface and enjoy a corner space.
