Inaugurated in 1976, the Museo Fundación Unicaja de Artes y Costumbres Populares de Málaga is today one of the fundamental Malaga references to approach the domestic life of our city and its people in the late nineteenth century. The museum, a former inn of the Victoria, from the seventeenth century, is in itself a valuable example of the typical architecture of Andalusia at the time. In this space you can stroll among carriages for animal transport and contemplate the trades of the forge, the bakery, fishing or printing. Discover the elaboration of wine and oil and learn about the rural world with its farming tools, folklore and popular religion. In addition, you will be able to admire the famous handmade figures of baked and polychrome clay representing popular characters: "Barros malagueños".
