A tour of three buildings in the historic center of Malaga in which the courtyard is the heart of the house. An architecture in which, behind the facade, an element that shows the city the "face" of the building, there is a space that gives character to the life that takes place inside.

Different uses and ways of life of the buildings give shape to projects in which the courtyard is a permanent value over time:

The house-workshop of Pedro de Mena, a famous 17th century Baroque sculptor, restored for a museum; a new house for a family that preserves the oldest Mudejar façade in the city; and an 18th century merchant's house that fuses Baroque elements with a new courtyard for tourist accommodations.

Route milestones:

  • Revello de Toro Museum-Pedro de Mena's house-workshop.
  • House in Beatas Street, 49. Gómez Madrona family house.
  • House at 23, San Juan St. Tourist Apartments
